Hello My name is Lars Coheed andI am a machine gunner that is fighting for Austria-Hungary and the reason we are in the war is because Serbia's Blackhand Gang assassinated our archduke Franz Ferdinand, and when I heard that on the radio in high school I told my parents and brothers I was joining the military after I graduate high school because I knew we was going to declare war on Serbia. When Serbia assassinated our archduke Franz Ferdinand I was stunned and mad at Serbia so I was going to graduate high school before I went and joined the military because our leader said that we declared war on Serbia on the radio.

The battle plan we used in the war was trench warfare using the machine gun so no-one could advance beyond the trenches.
When Russia left the war we had an advantage because the only countries left that we had to face was France and Great Britain. Until Germany sunk a Britain ship that had American passengers on it because they thought it had supplies for the British army, but the USA didn't enter the war until Germany asked Mexico to help them in the war in a note called the Zimmerman note and if they did they would help Mexico get back Texas, Arizona, New Mexico from America. The only problem was that a British Intelligence Agent intercepted the note and made it to the public and thats when President Wilson asked congress to declare war on Germany.

Around christmas we was fighting France in the trenches but when christmas eve came we set aside our diferences and we exchanged food and drinks, we played soccer, cards, and even got drunk together. I never liked being away from my family from christmas it always made me sad, but I was fighting for my country. I made a friend during that day though his name was Pepa Cambreed. We had alot in common like the kinda music, vehicles, and women. Then when that day ended we started fighting again and I saw Pepa in the trenches but I didnt realize it until we both pulled our guns on each other but it was to late because then my friend Alex Umlet shot him in the heart.
Treaty of Versailles
When the Treaty of Versailles was created I was kinda happy. The reason I was happy was because all of the killing was done Even though Serbia didnt punish the Blackhand gang enough to my satisfaction.
I was glad I was coming home because I havent seen my family in 5 years. When I got off of that train I saw my family and walked up to them my mom started crying, and my dad smiled and patted me on my back. When we got to the house my mom and dad said that my little brother died in a car crash 3 months ago. I was very upset cause I had brought him 10 dollars from Germany because I was going to take him there in a month after my return.
